How the AI interviewer works
You upload a resume, send Aara, our AI interviewer, into your Microsoft Teams meeting, and get a scored report for every answer. Here is exactly what happens at each step.
Upload the resume
Add the candidate's resume, and the job description if you have one. Questions are written from both.
Send Aara into Teams
Paste the Teams meeting link and launch, or schedule the interview for later.
Aara interviews
She asks the questions, listens, follows up on the answers and waits until the candidate has finished speaking.
Get the scored report
Every answer is graded, with the candidate's own words as evidence, and you decide.

0:00 The website
In this tutorial, you will see how AI Voicez takes a resume, interviews the candidate in Microsoft Teams, and gives you a scored report. AI Voicez is an AI interviewer for Microsoft Teams. It reads a candidate's resume and your job description, writes the questions, runs the interview, and grades every answer into a scored report. Here is a live example. The bot is connected and recording, and you can see the conversation as it is captured. The bot asks, the candidate answers. It works in four steps. Upload a resume. Launch the bot into your Teams meeting. Aara, the interviewer, asks the questions and follows up. Then you get a scored report. You also get job description matching, voice or text interviews, a live transcript with pause and restart controls, and hosting on Microsoft Azure in India.
1:13 The dashboard
After you sign in you land on the dashboard. The sidebar has interviews, candidates, a knowledge base, reports, your company profile and settings. At the top, interviews today, interviews scheduled this week, your average score and your success rate. When an interview is running, this card shows the live transcript, question progress, and monitoring. You can start from a single resume, from many resumes at once, or from a candidate you already added. Needs Attention reminds you to upload documents to your knowledge base. The meter bottom left shows how many free interviews you have left this month.
2:01 Starting an interview from one resume
Click New Interview. Choose how many resumes you are starting with. We will use a single resume. Everything is on one page, in three steps. Step 1, Resume and Contact. Enter the candidate's name. Then upload a PDF, Word, or text resume, or pick one from SharePoint. The bot finds the email and mobile number for you. Step 2, Interview. Enter the job role and experience level. Attach a job description if you have one, so the questions match what the role really needs. Choose how many questions to ask, the language, and a male or female bot voice. Pick audio, a voice-only phone interview, or video with the camera on in a meeting. Then choose what the bot does, introduce itself, ask and score the questions. Monitor the video for extra faces or looking away, and even watch shared screens. Step 3, Reach and Launch. Paste your own Teams, Google Meet or Zoom link and the bot joins it. Or choose a phone interview where the AI calls the candidate. Launch now or launch later. We will stop here without starting, so nothing is sent.
3:38 Inside a live interview
Once an interview starts, Aara joins your Teams call and asks questions written from the resume. The candidate answers, Aara follows up, and the whole conversation appears as a live transcript. You can pause, resume, or restart it from your dashboard.
3:59 Interviews, candidates and reports
Interviews lists everything queued, live and finished. Filter by status, search by name, phone number or role, or filter by channel. Candidates keeps everyone you have interviewed in one list, with their contact details, source, last activity, score and status. Reports collects every completed interview with its score and the bot's recommendation. A person on your team reviews it and makes the hiring decision.
4:36 How every answer is scored
Every answer is marked out of 10, up to 6 marks for the key points covered, each backed by a quote from the answer, 2 for depth and 2 for clarity. The report adds an overall score out of 100, a score for each skill and a recommendation.
4:57 The knowledge base and company profile
In the knowledge base, you add company documents, as PDF, Word, or text files, or from SharePoint or OneDrive, so the bot asks sharper questions. Company Profile is what the bot says about your company in its spoken introduction. So candidates hear the right name and a short description.
5:23 Settings
In Settings, Connections shows Microsoft 365 is connected through your sign-in for Teams meetings, Outlook invites and SharePoint resumes. Google Workspace and Zoom are coming soon. Phone and text turns on AI phone interviews to Indian numbers. Calls go out between 10am and 7pm. Missed calls are retried automatically. Email sending shows the address candidates will receive invites from. Interview defaults set the starting voice, number of questions and language for every new interview, and you can still change them per interview. Privacy and data lets you export everything your account owns as one JSON file. You stay in control of your data.
6:21 Pricing
AI Voicez is free to start up to 3 interviews a month with every feature. Pro costs ₹2,499 a month for unlimited interviews, with about 17% off when you pay yearly.
6:39 Security and data privacy
Your data stays on Microsoft Azure in central India. Every connection uses HTTPS, and your data is never sold. Create your free account, upload a resume and send Aara into your next Teams interview. The free plan includes three interviews every month.
1. Questions written from the resume and the job description
Upload the resume as a PDF, Word or text file. AI Voicez reads it and writes interview questions about the candidate's actual skills and projects. If you also upload the job description, the questions focus on what the role needs, and the skills the job description requires count double in the final score. You choose how many questions to ask and can set the role and experience level, so a fresher is not asked senior-level questions.
2. Aara joins the Teams meeting
Paste the Microsoft Teams meeting link and launch the interview. Aara joins the call like any other participant; you admit her from the lobby. You can also schedule an interview ahead of time: AI Voicez sends the candidate a reminder email and launches Aara at the scheduled time.
3. A real conversation, not a script
Aara asks one question at a time and speaks with a natural voice. She does not interrupt: she waits until the candidate has finished their answer before moving on. Her next question follows from the last answer: a strong answer gets a deeper follow-up, a weak one moves to a different skill, and after two questions on the same topic she moves on to another one.
Candidates can talk to her naturally. They can ask her to repeat or rephrase the question (she rephrases it without giving away the answer), ask for a moment to think, say they don't know, or ask to skip. You can follow the live transcript from your dashboard and pause, resume or restart the interview at any time.
4. Every answer graded, with evidence
When the interview ends, every answer is graded out of 10:
- Key points (6 marks): the points a strong answer covers, each marked covered, partly covered or missed, with a quote from what the candidate actually said.
- Depth (2 marks): whether they explained why or how, or gave a real example from their own work.
- Clarity (2 marks): whether the answer was easy to follow. Accent, filler words and transcription errors are never penalised.
A clearly wrong technical claim loses a mark. A correct answer that takes a different approach from the expected one still gets credit. A skipped question or "I don't know" scores 0.
5. The report, and your decision
The report gives an overall score out of 100, a score for each skill, a summary and a recommendation (Strong hire, Lean hire, Borderline or Not recommended). A candidate is never marked "Strong hire" while any skill is below 50%. The recommendation supports your decision; it does not replace it. A person on your team reviews the scores and makes the hiring call.
What the dashboard looks like
Screenshots from the demo: the dashboard you land on, the one-page setup for a new interview, and the settings.

Coding assessments
For technical roles you can send a coding assessment after the interview: the candidate solves problems in the browser and you review the code and results.
How it compares
An interview copilot helps a person run the interview; a one-way video interview has no follow-ups. See the side-by-side comparison of the four ways to run a first round.
